LaMarcus Aldridge made the most of his new starting job at power forward as he led the Blazers with 27 points, 3 rebounds and 2 blocked shots. Martell Webster also had a good game as he scored 21 points and grabbed 3 rebounds. The shocker was how well center Joel Przybilla played as he scored 13 points and snatched 10 rebounds. Still, the Blazers start the season 0-1.

The Blazers played hard and they outrebounded the Hawks 53-43 and that was a big factor in their win last night.

The Blazers just wanted this game more and that’s why they won on Thursday Night. Brandon Roy led the way for the Blazers with 24 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists.
